dry of course. don’t they write on the instructions that do not cook while using the ionic breeze. this is exactly the reason why. u will have to clean the machine more often and it won’t attract a lot of air through it. the charge between the plates inside get weaker and their ability to attract dust paricles from the air weakens. i hope u know that when u remove the blades for cleaning, u have to ground it to let the electricity traces out. u ground it by touching it against a metal water faucet, only then touch the blades.

I would expect the ionic breeze to work better in dry environments because the ionic breeze is based upon static electricty between the plates in the system. In a humid environment the device might not be able to hold the static charge between the plates to the level for proper operation. In dry atmosphere static charge can easily be maintained. A worst case might be a humid environment near an ocean where there may be a significant amount of salt spray in the air and the static charge would discharge the quickest.
