With all that activity the air in your apartment has been completely changed / replaced quite a few times. I would suggest you start with the a/c / furnace filters and any duct work you have. Ozone is bad for your health, so don't be around when they are doing this. An air purifier is to improve your indoor air for your continued health, but will do very little in this short term scenario that you are wanting.
