What would you say is the best air purifier? Are there advantages to the models that have permanent filters?

  1. Higher upfront cost to models with permanent filters. And you have to clean them regularly or they are worse than nothing.

Not smoking indoors is even better than having a filter (if someone in the house smokes).

Did you try Consumer Reports? If you don’t subscribe, I think you can look up issues at the library. They should give ratings on the best units in each price class/type.

  2. I also have really horrible allergies that affect me both indoors and outdoors especially in the spring. A couple of years ago my doctor recommended I try an air purifier and after months of research I found a product that I have absolutely fallen in love with.

I also found that my diet seems to affects my allergies but anyways check out Blue Air. I purchased my first unit my allergies have improved big time, I rarely sneeze anymore and feel like I get much more restful sleep. I think all the blue air products come with Hepa filters. Im actually considering getting another unit for my car…maybe when I get my next raise ;-) Check out this website called Clean Air For Life http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2442115-5048152
