It is believed by many that cold air intakes make a huge difference in horsepower. This is not true, they do make a difference but only if you install one that is specifically designed for your vehicle. K & N Air Filters are miraculous. I would suggest this option as it is much cheaper and will do essentially the same thing. Without making other upgrades to your vehicle changing the Intake is limited in the boost of horsepower it brings.

The cold (or even short) air intake will slightly increase HP.

The filter by itself would NOT.

Good Luck...

P.S. I've done it - so I know.

Yeah that first answer is pretty right, the filter wont do much, but i would suggest a short ram intake to a cold air intake....

doesnt require the hood or extra modding, its usually lower on the car and right behind the front bumper so it gets more direct air and not the hot engine bay air, but its more prone to sucking up water =(

I think you can only get the air filter and not the intake i was unable to find it at summit racing or aem i dont think you have a choice unless you make your own but then you risk making your car loose power
