i have bad allergies the main allergy that effects me is dust particles..my room is 108 sq feet…i currently have a honeywell 18155 i just dont feel it does that great of a job and recently my mother accidentally broke it so im looking for a replacement..i was looking at the honeywell 50250 which has good reviews but some people say its to loud to be in the room you sleep in and since i cant hear it before i buy it im skeptical…so im looking for an air purifier that is good for my size room doesnt cost more then 250 bucks and is low cost when it comes to maintenance and can really do a good job reducing the dust particles in the air
My room is 3.5m by 5m and roughly 2.5m in height. My air purifier is roughly the height size of a standard hotel toilet bowl. How long should i switch it on for sleep each night? I sleep in an air-conditioned room where the air-conditioner is turned on at 9pm and i wake up at 6am. My air purifier is one that comes with an ionizer function. I am asking as my air purifier is as noisy as an aircraft carrier and i am hoping to swtich it off after the least time possible for it to carry out its function. Thanks!
Hi, the brand is AMCOR. I have taken apart the machine and cleaned everything possible. There is one general filter that I have replaced with a new general filter. The next layer is the forever filter that need not be cleaned. Running the machine with everything taken apart, I have found out the sound is caused by the running of the motor. The model is outdated so it is not listed on AMCORs site.
I have attached a picture too, http://www.flickr.com/photos/24243779@N00/213520842/
