i’ve been researching alot and found that the IQ health pro is one of the best but it doesn’t tell you how much particles it picks up as do other brands, and itnot aham certified you need to know before buying one if it emits ozone which is not good, i found one at frys, called rabbit air pro, and it ranks up there with the IQair purifier, and is cheaper , filters and all.
I have researched different filtration systems and I believe that some of them may still emit ozone even though they don’t specifically say. Has anyone used a particular one with an Umbrella Cockatoo and/or a Severe Macaw? This is a serious matter to me because I have asthma and I love my birds, so please, no puns or jokes. Thank you.
Hi, i am inside all of the time and suffering from allergies i think. So i think it may be time to get an air purifier.
I have been trying to research them but there seems to be very mixed reactions. What is the best to buy in the 50-100 price range and will it be effective?
Every one i find that looks good. be it have no filter or a hepa one, some reviews say its horrible, some say it produces ozone which made things worse. some say it was the best thing they’ve ever bought.
I’m really confused on what to buy to try help me feel better, as i am constantly tired and feel full of cold.
Could you suggest what one to buy? And if it has helped you feel better overall?
I like the looks of the Bionare BAP825RC & Heaven fresh XJ-2100UV but again, mixed reviews
I used it in my room last night. Now there is a smell that I don’t think I could really explain very well I think. Also I think I read it produces ozone.
I don’t know if this is in the right category I think..
Please don’t tell me to get a sharper image one. people who own those are bound to have really bad lungs and can lead to cancer. They emit alot of ozone. How do i avoid those "ionizers"? Which one should i get?
I want to know how to make an air ionizer which not producing ozone .I understand air ionizer and ozone device is very alike in
construction. The ozone produced in the air by ozone devices is dangerous because of nitrous gases …my ionizer I don’t wanna make ozone
So how can I made an air ionizer which not producing ozone?
I understand,for producing ionized air,we need
high voltage. For producing ozone ,we need HV too .So ,how to avoid to not producing ozone
though?
Please give me details;is not clear for me the difference between that 2 phenomena
So more clearly .What must be the range voltage between minim and maxim to have an
efficient ionizer and in the same time to not producing ozone ?

There are many models of little battery operated fridge air purifiers available, but there aren’t many reviews that I can find. These things ionize the air and create small amounts of ozone that are supposed to keep mold, bacteria and odors to a minimum. Are they worth buying or should one just stick with the old baking soda in the fridge standard?
Ok, so a box of baking soda isn’t the gold standard, but has anyone out there tried one of the fridge air ionizers?
I don’t want a HEPA one as the filters are too expensive. I do want one that will do the entire apt (is effective through walls), does not produce ozone and costs less than 0. It should destroy mold, dust mites, dust and eliminate odors.
