My little girl has eczema. We had her tested her for food allergies and she has none. We have found mold in our home and are systematically removing it. We bought some HEPA air purifiers but have been told that they weren’t good quality. Can any body recommend a good air filter.
When I come back after a few hours or wake up in the morning (especially when the window is closed), the living room will smell bad. I assume there is mold growing in the carpet. Would an air purifier stop it from smelling?

There are many models of little battery operated fridge air purifiers available, but there aren’t many reviews that I can find. These things ionize the air and create small amounts of ozone that are supposed to keep mold, bacteria and odors to a minimum. Are they worth buying or should one just stick with the old baking soda in the fridge standard?
Ok, so a box of baking soda isn’t the gold standard, but has anyone out there tried one of the fridge air ionizers?
I don’t want a HEPA one as the filters are too expensive. I do want one that will do the entire apt (is effective through walls), does not produce ozone and costs less than 0. It should destroy mold, dust mites, dust and eliminate odors.
Controls airborne viruses, pollen, and allergens. The hydroxyl radicals and hypochlorous acid contained in electrolyzed water work together to destroy the spikes on the surface of a virus. This allows it to wrap around, disinfect, and deodorize airborne viruses, bacteria and mold, as well as pollen, dust mite feces and shells, and odor molecules.

I just moved and the apartment I live in is effecting my asthma because of mold. I cannot move at the moment and the only thing I can think of is to get an air purifier.
I just moved into an apartment and I have asthma. Something in that apartment is effecting my asthma. The first thing that my doctor suggested is that there might be mold in the apartment. I cannot see any mold anywhere. We also repainted the apartment, do you think that may be the problem. Would an air purifier help in any way?
Is your air purifier sealed like the manufacturers’ tout? Be careful which air purifier you buy… you may be blowing your $ away! We provide evidence of one air cleaner, Blue Air, which does not accomplish air purification. It merely blows the dust, like an expensive fan, around your home. I have been told that is one of the complaints about the ionic breeze, but I have no idea what that means. Someone checking the air in our house (we thought we had mold) told us to put it in the bathroom because we have mold there, but nowhere else in the house. He also said that we shouldn’t leave it running all the time because it will ionize the air too much.
