Pet allergy help, will this eliminate dander enough to stop allergic reactions?

I’m intrested in getting a rotweiller dog but I am concered about the dander because my grandpa and my dad are highly allergic to dander.

If I get a HEPA air purifier, encourage the dog to stay outside during nice days, use a special shampoo, special brush, and wips for the dog that eliminate dander. Will my grandpa and dad no longer have allergies?

Thank you for your time
PS: Versentil (or however your screen name works). Why don’t you stop being selfish and actually answer the question! I’m not being selfish because I’m conserned about my family. Get a life wemon and leave me alone. k bye

If i put this purifier in a spot i believe the air is at its worse, will it work for a 13X13 area from that point forward or does this product become completely useless when its in a room any larger then (13X13).

Also, i am trying to find an air purifier in the 0-0 for a larger sized room, so if you have other suggestion please list

Which are the best air purifiers to remove cigarette smoke?

I have a neighbor who smokes very heavily and it comes straight into my room, I live in a two story house and I breathe in these fumes daily and it’s worst at night. I have two air purifiers, 1 is Holmes Hepa Air purifier, the second one is Hamilton Beach Febreeze plug in air purifier, I also use a vaporizer to help me breathe better. Anyone know a good air purifier to remove this smoke?

Which air purifier should I buy out of these 2?

They’re both around the same price and both seem pretty good to me.

So much dust in my flat! Thinking of getting this air purifier - any feedback?

There is so much dust in our flat that it makes me sneeze. We vacuum every 2-3 days but we do have any books and small items. While I am intent on de-cluttering, I was thinking of getting this air purifier - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-PREMIAIR-99-EFFECTIVE-HEPA-AIR-CLEANER-PURIFIER_W0QQitemZ120221274028QQihZ002QQcategoryZ43510QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

What do you think? Are these purifiers effective?

Does anyone know of a good air purifier that will suck up cigarette smoke and isn’t loud or expensive?

I’m looking for a good air purifier that will suck up cigarette smoke out of the air. I don’t want to spend alot of money though. I have one already that I use in the bedroom, it’s a GE Hepa air purifier. I’m not even sure they make these anymore since I bought it several years ago. I love it, but it’s loud. I’m wanting to get one for the living room, but my husband won’t accept it if it’s loud, so I really need some advice as to which one to get.

Air purifier making buzzing noise?

Hi, I just bought a holmes HEPA air purifier (literally just bought), and within a few hour it started to make a strange electrical buzzing noise. I believe that it is coming from the ionizer, since when the ionizer is off it does not make this noise.

Is this normal, or is this a problem with the machine? Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks in advance.
Never mind, I’m getting rid of the thing anyway.
