How does the ionic breeze work?
they say on the commercials that it charges the incoming air and the charged dirt, smog, and dust gets attracted to the opposite electrode.
meaning only clean ozone is let out
can the ionic breeze filter out CO2?

Just to clarify a prior question, I had; I’ve heard that ionized air can be potentially harmful (i.e. free radicals) so I want to avoid air cleaners that ionize air. The 3M Filtrete electrostatic polyolefin-based filters (very common in furnace filters, and now as part of a standalone air purifier) are pre-charged with a static charge to attract dirt, dust, and particles of inflowing air.
My question is, as non-ionized (regular) air travels through the filter (via a simple fan, there is no ionizer involved) is there any way that it could pick up any of the charge on the electrostatic filter, or that the air can become somewhat ionized in any way or form after it leaves the filter? Now, AFAIK, air doesn’t conduct charges well, so my guess would be no, but I’d like to have an expert opinion.
I recently purchased a Honeywell Quiet Clean air purifier with permanent filters.
I ran hot water over the filters in a pool of hot water just like the instructions said to.
When we dipped a clear glass in the water after cleaning the filters you couldn’t detect any dirt or anything else.
Is this normal or could the air purifier not be properly working?
The purifier itself also emits an odor similar to a wall plug-in space heater, is this normal?
I have to change the air filter on my car because its cutting off occasionally due to dirt and air getting through to my engine. This is actually my first time doing this so can anyone explain to me how the put a new filter in? I know it shouldnt be that hard but I’d like to know so I can be prepared in the future.

The Ionic breeze ionizes air to draw it towards metal plates and attract dirt and dust. The Brethe has a vortex engine that creates a mist from tap water and a botanical "chemical" that filters the air. The Brethe is about 60 bucks for a standard unit and the Ionic breeze is about 120 dollars
Hi, I had my oil change a few mths back and realise that my air filter chamber was not replaced properly, thus causing too much dirt to be sucked into my engine. and the mechanic says that some part needs to be replaced. Any idea which part is that? Any idea on the cost of replacement.
Can I wash some parts of my ionic breeze in the dishwasher, such as the collection grid/filter. I know from basic searches online, that I can wash the front and rear covers in the dishwasher, but there is some dirt on the grid that is really stubborn and doesn’t want to come off.
I would call Sharper Image… but that doesn’t really work considering they are out of business and I can’t use the lifetime warranty if it breaks…
