I just moved and the apartment I live in is effecting my asthma because of mold. I cannot move at the moment and the only thing I can think of is to get an air purifier.
I just moved into an apartment and I have asthma. Something in that apartment is effecting my asthma. The first thing that my doctor suggested is that there might be mold in the apartment. I cannot see any mold anywhere. We also repainted the apartment, do you think that may be the problem. Would an air purifier help in any way?
I need to buy an air purifier for my apartment because my cat has asmatha and has difficulty breathing. i have done some research and there is a lot of conflicting info out there. which type of system is good for my 700 sq ft studio apt?
which air purifier is best for people?
I am trying to minnimize the "stale air" smell mixed with food odors that we have in our apartment. My spouse is CRAVING fresh air but not sure which one I should get. My grandmother had an IONIC Breeze type unit years ago and I loved the smell but not sure my spouse would respond the same. They nearly hate everything that I like so I am thinking about the air purifier with the charcoal insert. Anybody have any luckw ith these? The "customer reviews" on Amazon.com and other websites seem as if they are written by the manufacturers anyway.
do you have an air ionizer purifier at home or work? what is your opinion of it and what model do you have, I have seen some that makes the air so clean and crisp it was great but others did nothin you could not tell you even had one running, unfortunatly I don’t know the brand names of either, just know I want to get one for my apartment but also don’t want to waste money, thanks in advance
we both live in an apartment. my bf and our 15 mo old baby live in a room and his mom in another. she smokes alot in her room out the window with a fan, but it still lingers. can i buy an air purifier or sumtin? we’ve asked her to consider quiting but it seems like an impossible task.
I keep the temp warm in my apartment but the weird thing is that my air purifier blows cold air all the time. Do all air purifiers blow cold air no matter what temp it is?
I live in an apartment here and I am getting sick of all this crap from other people's cooking. It's an older building and they won't look into it.
I read HEPA is a better purifier but I don't know if it would stop smells from coming in my front door… it is shut so don't give me stupid stuff about shut your door, just too old of a building (renovation they are doing doesn't help).
Smells only hit me in the living room/dining room… about 350 sq ft I need to protect from smells.
Will a HEPA do this?
I think I just had some neighbors move in that must smoke a lot because it smells incredibley strong when I walk into my apartment. I guess it must be leaking through the walls I dont know how else it would be happening. What can I do about this? Do air purifiers work, I really dont want to spend a lot of money
I am wanting to purchase an air purifier for my apartment, which is approximately 700 square feet. I am wanting to eliminate light cigarette odor, pollen, dust, and perhaps pet dander in the future.
What should I look for when purchasing a purifier? Are their particular brands, features, styles, designs, etc, that I should look for?
Any product recommendations? I am looking for a price range of -0 (USD)
Thanks for the advice!
The filter in my air conditioning/heating unit (in my apartment) is extremely dirty. Maintenance is supposed to come and change them once a month, but I guess they haven't gotten around to it this month. I plan on getting a new one soon, but I'm wondering - is it possible to clean them somehow, until I get a new one?
I've noticed that since it has been dirty, the system is much louder (running the heat OR the a/c). Could this be due to the dirty filter, or may there be something else wrong with the system?
