Air Purifiers

I’ve had my ionic breeze for awhile and really liked. It gave off a nice fresh air smell. I stopped using it (kinda forgot about it when I moved) for about a year. I then plugged it back in and ran it continuously for a week or more. Cleaning it when needed. All the sudden it started giving off this bizarre odor. I can’t really describe it except for it almost smells like dirty dish water. I stopped using it for about 8 more months because of this and then started using it in the room with my birds. It gave off the same smell. I cleaned it over and over and no difference. I decided if I ran it continuously maybe the smell would "work its way out". That hasn’t happened. Now after some googling I found out it is potentially unsafe. The stuff I read said it was ozone, but the ozone gave off the fresh smell. So what is giving off this terrible smell? It gives me headaches and now I’m worried for myself and my birds (2 budgies and a cockatiel). In the future should I go with an air filter/hepa filter etc? Thanks for any info about this mystery smell and a good course of action.

How do you open air filter case on current model toyota corolla with the wiring from the air flow meter cable tied to the lid of the air filter case, this is preventing the lid from comming off. Im refering to australian model but US model seems similiar.

I do not see any clips on what i believe is the air filter housing. I removed two bolts but after further inspection, they did not appear to be holding it on. Is this just a major pain in the ass?

if i bought this air filter for my car how do i get it on? do i remove the stock air box and just put it on the hose that comes out of the air box? how does this fit in there???

I have a YZ 125 air filter and I need to clean it and get the oil out of it. I am not around any bike dealerships and I was wondering if there are any alternative ways to clean it without solvents and without damaging it.

I’m having trouble getting to the air filter. How do you replace it? Is there a specific method, tool?

my car is an 04 corolla. the only thing that holds the engine air filter cap in place are two clips. i pulled them off, lifted the lid, and replaced the filter. now i cannot hook the clip back onto the lid. it is really hard to push the clip back on. besides the obvious (air filter out of its position), what could i be doing wrong? TIA.

Will this filter suck all of the pesticides out of the indoor air, or is even it not enough? I also have a Spider Plant, Golden Pothos plant, and Bamboo plant in my room. With the plants working in conjuction with the air filter, should there be no measurable level of pesticide residue in my room that might be inhaled?
