if it is meant to be there,then it cannot be removed easily.almost all products have a 1-800 number for you to call if you have questions,and some operate 24-7,or call where the product was purchased,or look at the picture to see if it is present.if you have doubts,then do not operate until you are sure.

If it is not mentioned in the manual, it is likely just packing material for stability/breakage control. Take it out

probably packaging if so its ok to remove, do not discard in the event you need to replace it or return the item until you are sure
