I think Printer is right. To make sure check Intruderalert.com . These guys on that forum know the Intruder inside and out .I have the Suzuki S83 , which used to be called the Intruder 1400 . But mine is only a couple months old so I havn`t even done an oil change on it yet. The dealer did one at the 600 mile break in .

I’m not a Suzuki guy, but Honda Valkyrie and Magna both have the airbox under the tank. I’d say you’d have to remove the tank to get to the air box. Check out the picture:
