Air Purifiers

Preferably one that also cools.
The room is 12×12.

What are the costs? How much sq footage does it cover? Filter replacement cost? Thanks!

I have cleaned the machine. But when I turn it on and let it work, I come back and it has completely shut off? Ideas?

I want to buy a good air purifier
I was thinking about an Ionic bodel or about a orik model but they are very expensive..
so if anybody knows of any good brands out there let me know..
I am mostly trying to get rid of cigerette smoke.

I live with smokers and I’m having a hard time cleaning the tar and nicotine off of the collection bar.

I live on the coast in a valley and my house has a lot of mold I suspect between the walls. He gets asthma issues nightly, and I have been having sinusitis and pressure behind my eyes, muscle aches etc. We are otherwise healthy, young and vibrant but since living here for 8 months, we have really been getting sick. Do you think that a Honeywell air purifier would help to eliminate the mold? What can we do? To live here is expensive so we cant just move and our jobs are here. What can we do to "tough it out" one more year until we move?

Iam a little confused . .. Ive read that humidifiers , air purifiers and cool mist humidifiers help the air.. but i live in a basement apt .. and expecting a baby.. which one will be best and safer for me to purchase ????

The user’s manual doesn’t mention the styrofoam nor does it tell me to remove it. My question is the following: Should it be there and will it operate safely if it remains there?

In the model I have the filters never need replacement but they do need to be cleaned. I tried looking for the product manual online everywhere but I can’t find it.

Basically I’m just looking for some generic advice on how you clean these filters if anyone has had experience doing so…
