Air Purifiers For Cockatiels?

I would like to know if anyone has a favorite air purifier that they use for their birds. I have cockatiels that are very dusty and sometimes their nostrils get clogged and inflammed. I try to spray them the best I can, but they are not always co-operative. Someone had mentioned to use an air purifier to help with the dust.Do they emit any chemicals I should be concerned about? Is one better than another or are they all basically the same? Any and all help greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!!!!!

Are air purifiers that put ozone in the air dangerous???

My fiance’s parents have an air purifier in their home that puts ozone in to the air. They leave it running in their home about 85% of the time… I heard somewhere that this is dangerous for your health. Is this true? Does anyone have any more information about this? Thanks!

Hi!.

I am trying to make the best of my budget. I can spent 300U$ on air purifiers. I would like to know if it is best to buy two or three different small and cheap ones, or if it is best to buy a more expensive and have it as a central purifier for a small condo. Any help? Could you also tell wich brand and model?

i have allergies to dust and mold and bought an air purifier. i’m not sure if i am supposed to close my windows and doors when i use it. i am also not sure if i should always leave the house fan on to circulate air (or how often to use it). does anybody know how to circulate air and use an air purifier? (another question is how long to run the ionizer on the purifier or if i leave it on will the ozone be bad for me).

Air purifiers make smog? Why is this lie allowed to stand?

Anyone who has studied science knows that smog is created by hydorcarbons, VOC’s, and nitous oxides. In the presence of heat and sunlight, mother nature produces ozone when a chain reaction takes place that causes oxygen to split and the oxidizer ozone is created. Two thirds of older big rigs and buses lack emissions controls and are what makes smog. Smog is not ozone. Also, most school buses leak toxic exhast into the cabin, a major health threat to our children. Here is a good article on these subjects: http://www.ioniczone.com/air_purifiers_create_ozone_is_not_smog.html

My questions are:
1) Why does this misinformation make it to the top of search engines almost over night where it can mislead the masses?
2) How many of you beleive the "party line" that ozone is a toxic gas and the cause of smog?
3) How many of you ever rode on a school bus and got sick often from the exhast fumes? How does it feel to get put in a gas chamber?

Look forward to yoru comments.
I didn’t spell check. Here is the spell checked version:

Reliable sources? UC Irvine? They took .5 mil from the fed to study air pollution. Did they address the school bus issue or the lack of emissions controls on big rigs? No. They simply stuck to the party line of blaming ozone. Do your own research dude, don’t believe everything you read.
