Air Purifiers

I just got an air purifier and was wondering how often and how long should you run the air purifier. My room is 10 x 13 sq ft by the way. Thanks.

Generally how much would a basic hair purifier for one room cost? My mother smokes and I would like to have one room in the house that I can escape too… lol.

Suggestions?

I saw some at Sharper Image that were quite expensive, I never had one of those, but it supposedly helps clean the air and makes you healthier….true? Is it worth the money spent?

Is there another way to get clean fresh oxygen in my room, and house other then air purifier and cleaning? My house is pretty clean and I dust often.

I love using aromatherapy (but very new to it) and currently I am using a small glass dish with a tea-light to heat the oils. Now I want to get an air filter/purifier to clean the air in my home office (where I also use the aromatherapy oils). When I use the air cleaner/purifier, will it "clean" the scent of my aromatherapy, basically making it useless and a waste to heat the oils?

we have a "cat room" for our 4 cats where they have litter boxes, but the room smells and often the smell lingers out into the hallway. i don’t want to leave the window open since the room is downstairs. would an air purifier tower (oe even just a fan) work to keep air cirulating and get rid of the smell?.

My husband is a heavy smoker and I would like to clean the air from the smoke and smell.

I’ve bought one but it was so noisy and it was unbearable.

Could anyone suggest a good combination of air purifier that won’t cost an arm and a leg, and will remove the smoke without making any noise. Is there such an invention?
