Yes,it can.We have a Oreck air purifier and it does a fantastic job,but you also have to dust your furniture too.The Oreck takes dust and dander from animals out of the air,and replenishes clean air threw a filter.The machine will let you know when to clean the filter.It’s great!

Yes - I have an air purifier at home and it does a great job of limiting the amount of dust. Does a great job to keep the air clean without an annoying fan running constantly. Check out the Aclare air purifier from Advanced Air Solutions. It has worked for me.
