The one without filter replacement is very good. They are designed to run silently for 24 hours. Low cost in electricity consumption and no filters replacement cost. I personally recommend ION401 and ION366.

My air purifier has helped and I have an Oreck where you clean the filter regularly. I keep it next to my bed on quiet mode. They won’t do it all on their own. You need to also do other things to lessen your contact with whatever allergen is affecting you. At home things like using a vacuum with a hepa filter, wearing a mask when you clean, using covers on your pillows and changing your bedding regularly, vacuuming your couch, mattress and window treatments. A multi layered attack is what works best.
Yes air purifiers are really good when it comes to allergies. They can clean the air and filter out newer and cleaner air and trap the dust, dander, debris, and many other things. But I would prefer that you get the one that need filters, because you can clean it and reuse it. I hope this helps. The filter are the ones that trap those annoyances.
